Would you rather we supply the AI?
Tiers go by the words you store: the original and every translation of it. Pay for a year and two months are free.
Starter costs the same as Own key, on purpose. What differs is who pays for the AI. On Own key you bring your own endpoint and pay your provider for tokens, which is cheaper at volume and needs an account there first. On Starter the AI is included and you get one bill, with nothing to set up.

What happens if I cancel?
Nothing breaks. If your translations are files in your own build, your site keeps serving them. You lose new translation runs, not your site, and you can export everything first.
Is 199 kr per site or per account?
Per workspace. Sites, languages and team members are not counted. The flat fee is the whole point.
Which models can I bring?
Anything with an OpenAI-compatible endpoint, hosted or self-hosted. You can add a separate vision endpoint so screenshots also go to your own provider. Keys are stored encrypted.
Do you train on my content?
No. With your own key, your text goes to your provider under your terms and never through our AI. With ours, it is processed to translate it and for nothing else.
What counts as a word?
Every word stored in your workspace: the original sentences and their translations, in all languages and projects. It is a storage limit. Translating your stored words is included and never counted against you.
What happens if I go over my limit?
Nothing breaks. Your site keeps serving and the AI keeps working. We email the owners. If the workspace is still over its limit at the next invoice, it moves up one tier. Prune it under the limit before then and nothing changes.
Is AI translation really unlimited?
Yes, within fair use. The plan covers keeping your stored words translated. Cycling words in and out to farm AI runs is outside fair use, as the Terms say.
Can I switch between Embed, Build, Sync and MCP?
Any time, per project. Switching never re-translates a word. All four share one translation memory, one rulebook and one history.
Do non-profits or open-source projects get a discount?
Yes, 50 % off any tier. Email support@bemywords.org from your project and we set it up.
Prices in NOK without VAT, invoiced in the currency of your first plan. The word limit is storage, not a meter, and translating your stored words is included. Running something bigger? Talk to us.
